Introduction:

The Nashville Public Library uses the borrowing and lending functions available to the library as a member of Illinois Heartland Library System’s SHARE, the online catalog.  The library uses the Internet to also access OCLC’s WorldShare to obtain information and materials for patrons not available through SHARE.

Lending Practices:

There is a limit of 40 items that can be borrowed per resident/non-resident library card. Institutional library cards have a limit of 60 items with the understanding that they are responsible for all accruing fines/fees.

Books and other materials (kits, audio books, DVDs, and fishing poles) shall have a two (2) week loan period, with two (2) renewals of two (2) weeks each.  New materials have a two (2) week loan period, with no renewals.
