Junior Nature Explorers explore plants, animals and their habitats in a new program geared for youth, ages 7-12. Participants meet the last Saturday of each month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. (except December) at the Nashville Public Library or at surrounding nature areas. This series of six interactive nature programs is jointly sponsored by the Nashville Public Library and University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists.

The meeting dates are Oct. 25, Nov. 22, Jan. 24, Feb. 28, March 28, and April 18. The series is offered free of charge but registration is required. Registration period is open until Oct. 23 at the Nashville Public Library or by calling 327-3827.
